Welcome to DST Drones!  DST Drones was formed in March 2018 as an aerial photography and video company.  Mike Shanafelt, the company founder, began flying drones in 2017 and earned his FAA Part 107 Commercial Remote Pilot license in February of 2018.

Based in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, DST Drones is a full service company for obtaining aerial photos or videos for residential and commercial properties, aerial inspection services (radio towers, power lines, etc...), and events.  Mike wants to work with you to get the perfect videos or photos from the sky.

Do you have an upcoming outdoor event for a non-profit?  Please contact Mike and discuss capturing aerial photos for the event.  One of the reasons the company was created was to provide aerial photography for our community.  Depending upon availability, photos or videos for non-profits can be done at very reasonable rates (often, just the cost of providing insurance).
